Consulting Services

Professional consultation is the single greatest investment you can make in your career, and also in yourself. It is through these one-on-one collaborative sessions that you can dive into the "whys" and "hows" that are involved with learning and applying best practices in the care process. Additionally, this is time to support your own mental health, avoid fatigue, and burnout that commonly impacts mental health professionals.

We hesitate to make this type of investment in ourselves, and yet it is often fear or a desire for perfection that stops us from taking that next step.

In our consulting sessions you will receive support, encouragement, constructive feedback, and guidance with clinical care, business practices and more.

This valuable time will be spent covering topics that advance your knowledge, expand your perspectives and apply your skills in ways that help you to evolve as a specialized professional and (I am going to keep saying this) help you grow as a person.

By investing in 55-minutes each month to ask all the questions you have — including care process, client trends, lab questions, new research — and to process your frustrations with a challenge at work, you’ll gain insight and guidance each time you show up for yourself. The topics for discussion are endless, and collaborative sessions keep the learning process dynamic and relevant to your needs.

It is often in these open discussion formats that we have “OH” moments where information makes sense in a new way, or a brand new concept is learned. In addition, this can be a great way to meet colleagues and help build your community.

**Zoom meeting link will be sent via email the day before to all active and past MAK Supervisees, no registration needed.
